How do I use Kmix.

Why can't I plug the mic in and start recording. I open Kmix and It does not have any directions. "just credits to the makers". I try and press the record button and a bubble pops up. The bubble says I have to check my system input device or something to that effect. But there is know imput check. I made sure my mic was secure. Again, what do I have to do to at least get a live mic.

Hello
In kmix's tabs, find Mic Boost (+20 dB), and activate it.
and try to record..

Hi,
If you can go into kmix's tabs, look for the one called "Mic Boost (+20dB)" and make sure it is activated.
Now try recording!

I do not have Mic Boost (+20 dB) tab. Is there a way to install?
