where is "menu.list" in Kubuntu?

The summary says it all.
I want to install Kubuntu 9.10 on a partition, but I want to make sure I can access my other partitions after doing it.
Normally I substitute my regular "menu.list" in place of the newly installed one.
In this case, I can't find the Kubuntu "menu.lst".

No /boot/grub/menu.lst. It has been replaced by /boot/grub/grub.cfg.

Can you help with this problem?
