updatesdownload speed SLOW

Started updated, which said it would be 7hrs, now 3hrs later I'm down to 7.5hrs. My download rate is 1.5MB, why am I getting 10-20KB avg, and often less like 200-600K on some. It takes less than 1hr to download the ISO, so an upgrade should be far less. I've had issues with this in the past with Jaunty. I sure hope this is a network setting you've done accidentally and not normal. I would not recommend anyone use this distro if this is going to continue.

I upgraded to 2.6.28-10, which to many many hours and speedwas back to a reasonable rate. This problem has occurred a few times and loading the updates usually fixes(or maybe causes) the problem. I was also experiencing many issue with Amarok which the upgrade resolved. I think the issue may have been with EX4 or some other setting. I upgraded since to 2.6.28-11 which took about 30m which was excellent.

 I just want to make sure it doesn't persist, as it seems to have re-occured. I thought I would log this in case others are experiencing the same problem.
