Retrieve a folder

Hi,

I deleted (shift+ del) the folder unfortunatly which contain some important information.
so, i want to retry the folder

1) In ubuntu i dont know how to retry so kindly provide those steps ASAP .

There is a package 'recover' in Synaptic/adept however it works only on ext2 partitions..

also try to have a look at this directory

/home/<username>/.local/share/Trash/files

Shivaji,

That's why shift+del asks for your confirmation by default. :-)
Most likely it is gone, but you can try the methods here:
