how to install k3b in ubuntu 11.04

I want to install k3b in my ubuntu 11.04 without installing the KDE desktop. How to install k3b without unnecessary packages . k3b is an all in one application which can burn and rip CD/DVD. Please suggest me is there any other software for gnome ? I have used K3b in Kubuntu 11.04 its a very good software for CD/DVD purpose. But Kubuntu is slower than ubuntu so I want to use ubuntu please help..

Just install it as you would ANY other package. You will install a lot of QT libs as dependencies to the tune of 180Mb but you can install apps from the other desktops and they will run.
