Empathy icons in the Messaging Menu.

Asked by Brian K. Mangum

Are the icons in the Messaging Menu for chat no longer going to be in mono as the rest of the menus or is this going to be fixed in a later update?

I suggest you report a bug using:

ubuntu-bug empathy

Oneiric and it's packages are still not ready for use and it is still in beta

Matthew Paul Thomas at http://design.canonical.com/2012/04/status-menus/ answered my question saying:

"As for the color, showing chat status without using color doesn’t work well (as previous versions of Ubuntu demonstrated). Once we do remove those disguises, the Empathy, Thunderbird, and Gwibber icons will be in color too."
