HP Printer P1007 not printing in Ubuntu 11.4

Ubuntu 11.4 detected the HP printer P1007 but not printing any test Page or other file. After clicking the Print option is is showing that machine is printing and after some time it is shown that printing work has been completed. But printing is not actually done by machine. However the system did give printout when the updates were not loaded. the problem started only after updating Ubuntu 11.04 The same machine is printing in Windows 7 Please solve the problem. Pl kindly send the remedial measures on my email. thanks.
