12.04 will not suspend on Dell XPS 8500

Computer sleeps if it is in Windows(7) but restarts immediately if I put it in suspend in UBUNTU 12.04.

Hi, have you check if you can hibernate?

You can try it by using this command :

» pm-hibernate

Also, check your power settings in the System Settings --» Power
