Problems getting online to Kopete Jabber

i am getting this message when i try to go online with Kopete Jabber: There was a connection error: Connection refused.

Are you able to connect to other messaging services, like MSN or AIM or Yahoo?
Have you tried retyping in the Jabber server name? Can you ping the Jabber server?

I have tried to retype in the Jabber server and I have pinged the Jabber server. Everything is working, but it gives me the message connection error: Conection refused. I don't know what else to do.

Seem like it's SSL error (I had the same with JAJC in Windows). In my case, I installed SSL sertificate and everything's ok...
Try switching SSL and plain text login on/off, this may help
