Pointing device interference
I am using Ubuntu Breezy on a Toshiba laptop. The laptop has a IBM "nipple" pointing device in the center of the keyboard which is faultly (cause the cursor to vere off to top corner and interferes with mouse function) On windows I can disable this easily using Device manager. How do I do this in Ubuntu. I have tried using the Ubuntu device manager and can only identify a device which is a keyboard and mouse combined. I dont know how to deactivate this and am concerned that if I do I will also lose keyboard function. I am happy to rely on using a USB mouse which works but is handicapped by the interfering "nipple" Please advise. Thanks
