Is crossposting from/to twitter to/from identi.ca possible?

The two buttons for my twitter/identi.ca accounts at the bottom of the Gwibber UI suggest to me that it would be possible to post to both services with one message. I hope my terminology of "crossposting" is correct.

I tried it with both buttons (twitter/identi.ca) clicked, but the message to identi.ca never showed up.

I *think* I recall this being possible, but I'm not sure since I last used Gwibber eons ago.

(Gwibber 2.30.1 on Ubuntu 32 bit)
