Broadcast icon is missing from my system tray

HI
I am using ubuntu lucid and when i reinstalled gwibber after removing it, i noticed that it is no longer showing up in my system tray. Pls advise. TQ

try searching the options for a system tray options. If push comes to shove you can run:

sudo apt-get install alltray

then run gwibber with:

alltray gwibber

alltray will run any app in the sytem tray. I don't use gwibber so can't comment directly but alltray will get yuo by for now. Maybe its missing a plugin or somesuch.
