Can has guile-2.2 plz? Debian gots it. ktnxbye

Our team is about to start using guile as an extension language,
but wants the shiny 2.2 (probably for good reason).

I see friend Debian has 2.2
https://packages.debian.org/source/sid/guile-2.2

What's the status of 2.2 for Ubuntu?

guile-2.2 is being prepared for Ubuntu 18.04 https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/guile-2.2 and there is a PPA with a version for 16.04 available on https://launchpad.net/~vidme/+archive/ubuntu/guix

While we wait for the official 2.2 to land in 18.04 (which appears to be making progress),
I've prepared a ppa with 2.2.3 for 16.04 and 14.04 at https://launchpad.net/~dank/+archive/ubuntu/guile-2.2
