enabling-disabling of image forward or back function

how do I control the functions such as foward and back image, so that g-thumb can act as a slide show producer. In particular, some images disable the image forward and back function, espacially with de-arced images.

In slideshow, move your cursor to the top of the screen to reveal the previous and next functions.
