Can gthumb read or edit IPTC info?

Can gthumb read or edit IPTC info that is embedded in the image and remains with it even if it is move in the file system and can also be read by other programmes

Hi there,

I think GThumb has support for IPTC tags via libiptcdata but the support is not enabled in Ubuntu. If you install libiptcdata and libiptcdata-dev and recompile GThumb, you will have IPTC info support.
