How to retain Grub2 after XP installation?

I hav ubuntu 9.10 installed into my PC. I hav to install winXP as dual boot. But how can i retain Grub after XP installation? And it is not legacy grub as kamic eleminated it. I am not sure about grub 2. Plaese healp. Anxiously awaiting...
