8.04: GRUB problem

Hi

I've got a problem with GRUB.

If I start up the PC, I've to enter the BIOS password. After this, GRUB is hanging. The cursor is in the left upper corner and UBUNTU does not start.

After a while GRUB is coming up and the system is going to start.

What can I do? Thanks a lot.
