Not installing

When I am trying to install Ubuntu, I am doing it through USB drive process from Booting into it etc. I am trying to install the 64Bit version as well. I see the logo screen normally until I suspect it will be the part where I want to install it etc. But I don't see this and it believes no video is present or something, my monitor goes to standby mode.

Forgot to mention my video card is Radeon HD 5670 512MB

I was in Live test of Ubuntu from the USB and it seemed to loaded in but screen was still the same, acting as no monitor present or something. Goes to standby and I can not see the desktop. I know its worked because I heard the welcome sound.

The same thing keeps happening when I use a normal CD after burning the ISO. And I have just tried 32bit USB install process.

I have installed Ubuntu on my seperate hd partition inside windows and i now get no root directory problem. keep pressing ok and no options to select partition.
