gparted download link sent did not work
I accessed the web page at URL
https:/
There seemed to be no direct way on the page to download the package.
Despite that there was a list of such versions on the above web page, there also seemed to be no way to convey my desired Ubuntu "12.04" current operating system version as the target of the download.
Therefore, at the "email a link to download" widget, I entered my email address and clicked the SEND button.
I received this link, which is both full of GOOGLE trash, and also fails to work as provided:
https:/
When I clicked the link, it resolved to nothing useful, but instead just took me back to the original web page at URL
https:/
I am moderately sure that there is something missing between the "gparted/" and the "&sa=D", since an "&" is meant to connect to something on its left side, but the left side after the dividing slantbar is is empty.
_Before_ the link is resolved, there is indeed a "/url?q=", after the part in clear text, but the entire link does not function as intended, to the best of my understanding.
I expected that something would be created giving me direct access to download the file identified by the string after the "&usg=".
I am fairly sure I am the victim of my own ignorance, since the package seems to be in use, and there is nothing on the bugs page matching this situation.
Does anyone know what I did wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
I have no clue how to navigate back to a provided answer, as I have never used this service before.
