How to increase size of root drive
I know this question has been asked many times, but I am a novice at linux and hopefully this question will elicit a detailed response (steps).
Here is my current partition:
Partition: windows ntfs-linux swap-boot-root-home
Amount free: 144gb - swap-1.
I want to take 40 GB from my NTFS and set it to my root and increase root (only 9gb free now)
any pointers most appreicated
Even if I can reduce home by 20 and add this onto root, I ll be happy...I did not do this so far as when I tried doing it with gparted on the live USB, I got a bunch of warning that moving a parition might cause an incorrect boot...
