partitioning HDD already running ubuntu by itself

i am wanting to partition my hard drive which is only got Ubuntu on it, is there anyway to do so without removing and reinstalling Ubuntu. thank you

You can boot to livecd and resize partitions. I suggest you rerun your backups in case of catastrophe
