Risks of not having sub-keys

Asked by Dimitri John Ledkov

I've generated 4096-bit RSA key for myself and i used --expert mode and I've set the key to be used for all possible options: Signing, Encryption & Authentications.

This looks like a good idea of having just one key. What are the risks of using the same key for signing & encryption from cryptography point of view (the key is stored well protected & strong password)?

Couldn't find an answer online =) thought to ask the experts.
