How do I takescreenshot and save it in MS Documents

I need to take a screen shot and save it to MS documents to put in a word document. I take the screen shot and save it in documents but can not find it in documents.

Hello,

The screen shot service in Ubuntu saves the file as a PNG image file and not as a document. The extension is .png.

When taking the screenshot, in popup dialog click on option: copy to clipboard
Open the document and insert on preferred position with: ctrl+v
