I dont know what to press to run a command in my terminal

I want to install adobe flash player 11.2 and I am trying to ru some commands I found on the internet. I dont know what to press to initiate the command. I thought it was enter but when i press that the cursor goes to the next line. Please help and if possible give me a simpler way to install the new adobe flash player because i cannot watch many videos without it.

Yes you can Pablo Grant ,

but you have to install Google's Chrome browser instead of Firefox. Google's Chrome browser has integrated the latest version of Adobe Flash player (11.6).

Now , first install the package "ubuntu-restricted-extras". Open Ubuntu Software Center and write on search bar : ubuntu-restricted-extras
then click to install this package , it will take you some time for installation to be completed (lot of packages will be installed Flash Player Included) . BUT Adobe , has dropped the support for Linux , so the last Flash Player is 11.2.

On the other side , Google has installed Flash player inside Chrome Browser. Above package (ubuntu-restricted-extras) is not needed only for flash player , but included several other packages that will help you to listen music or see videos that requiring closed formats (restricted).

Google's Chrome will help you to see all the sites (even if the site require the latest version of Flash Player).

The cursor going to the next line means the command has run. Enter is indeed the correct key. Ussually if it goes the next line without saying anything, and gives you the prompt again, it means the command ran sucseffully. Sometimes it won't give you the prompt immediatelly after it goes to the next line, as the command you typed is executing.
