command line

hi please help. whenever i try to enter code in the command line ( especially sudo) it prompts me for password, but no keys do anything other than enter which then tells me the password is wrong..?

That's a feature, not a bug. Just type your password with no errors and press enter.

You will get no feedback, but the password is being accepted.

Terminal will not show password being entered but it is accepting it ,I had same problem after leaving Vista,like Chris states just enter password correctly,then press enter .
