Who do I get back to normal command line when I type cat I can not run other commands help me, to get back to normal

Help me, I am just new here I typed cat in terminal but I can not get back to normal command help me, to get back to normal and command other commands

Hi,

Usually you do something like:

cat filename

to view the content of filename

If you type

cat

it will wait...

To get back to the shell prompt : just press CTRL+C

Who do I configure the server when I type su it gives me, password and when I enter administrator's password it sends a fail messages help me

sudo -i

instead of su
