System monitor applet back in the panel in Unity (as an indicator) ?

I'm testing natty (ubuntu 11.04), and one of the biggest issue is the lost of the system monitor applet. Are there plans to convert it into an indicator?

No. As of now you cannot add applets to the panel than what is already on the panel. You can ofcourse pin it to the launcher.

There's https://launchpad.net/indicator-sysmonitor but it's missing network traffic. IMO gsm should supply its own indicator -- is it planned?
