Failed to load session 'ubuntu' - on 11.10

Asked by schaffs

I have the "same but opposite" problem as Question #16599 -
my problem is that I recently updated - had 11.04, now 11.10
When I attempt to login, I get the message "failed to load session 'ubuntu'" - what do I need to do to resolve this?

Oh jeez those things are annoying. You will not get 3D support for that chip under Linux, but it wil do 2D well. You can log into Unity2D and get Unity that way.
