I installed Gnome 3 previously on Ubuntu 11.04

Is now Gnome 3 ready to use for Ubuntu 11.04?
Should i install it?

I have not yet tried it and never will. I read too many complaints with GNOME3 installation as it makes Unity desktop unstable, install it at your OWN risk.

But if you're salivating with GNOME3 desktop, I'd advise you to see the newly released Fedora 15. It comes with the new GNOME3 DE.

I didn't see Gnome 3 in current 11.04 repository.

It's not available on the repository, you have to manually add the PPA. Open the Terminal and do the following commands below:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install gnome-shell
