Problem with Workspace-switcher

When i open the preferences window of the applet, i get this before the window opens

Failed:Failed: Scheme
«/schemas/apps/workspace_switcher_applet/prefs/display_all_workspaces» specificated by «/apps/panel/applets/applet_11/prefs/display_all_workspaces» saves a non schematic value

«/schemas/apps/workspace_switcher_applet/prefs/num_rows» especificado por «/apps/panel/applets/applet_11/prefs/num_rows» saves a non schematic value

I have Ubuntu 6.10 upgraded from 6.06.1 in Spanish.

The error that you're getting indicates that your scheme for the settings which controls/stores the settings for the workspaces switcher is broken

try running "sudo apt-get install gconf gconf2-common gconf2 libgconf11 --reinstall" in a terminal

this should reinstall the settings database and the schemes associated with the workspace switcher.

if this does not work try reinstalling libpanel-applet2-0 gnome-applets or gnome-panel

I tried both solutions but it gives the same error. I will try to reboot to see if something changes.

I erased some files. I will reinstall. This isnt an Ubuntu problem.
All is OK.
