Microsoft Exchange Email Push

I'm curious to know and understand where the microsoft exchange account settings' source code is located and particularly where I can make adjustments to the email part of the exchange account settings so that email experience on ubuntu can be improved by people getting email pushed to them rather than having to wait specific intervals to poll for new mail using imap or pop3. Should I be searching in this source repository or in the evolution email application source code for those types of settings?

The Microsoft Exchange source code is owned by Microsoft. It is proprietary and not freely available
