I suggest you also switch to the main server for packages rather than the pk. one. It seems uncontactable

ok! i have a dell 1018 netbook and try to plug your internet and reinstall network-manager-gnome and then reboot, update and upgrade .dell laptops dont bear more than two partitions because they have a hidden microsoft data that always disconnect wifi of a third system. also from setup f12 disable and enable all wireless .dont touch keyf2 ,because it doesnt work. also whoose for your ubuntu network-manager-gnome not wicd orother.with regards
