TATA PHOTON VME OLIVE 101 UNABLE TO CONFIGURE IN UBUNTU

I WANT TO INSTALL TATA PHOTON PLUS (VME-101 OLIVE) IN MY LATEST UBUNTU 11.10 VERSION PLEASE HELP ME FOR THE SAME.

ALSO AS I AM NOVICE TO THE LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY INTERFACE THAT CAN BE USED TO RUN .EXE APPLICATIONS IN UBUNTU.

to run windows .exe applications you would want to install and use wine from the ubuntu software center. See http://www.winehq.org/

as far as setting up your "TATA PHOTON PLUS" this appears to be a broadband Internet device. Have you tried clicking on the network settings from the top menu bar? It will be the icon next to the sound indicator in the top right hand corner of your screen. Click on edit connections, click mobile broadband, and add. You should see your device listed.

HI FRIEND

I HAD ALREADY MADE A TRY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE MENTIONED ABOVE BUT ITS NOT WORKING SINCE IT IS UNABLE TO FIND THE MODEM CONNECTION FOR THE SAME. DEVICE IS LISTED NO DOUBT BUT IT CANNOT MAKE ANY CONNECTIONS.

I REQUIRE SOME OTHER PERMANENT SOLUTION PLEASE DO HELP ME.
