Change wireless regulatory domain in ubuntu 11.04

Can somebody walk me through on how to change my wireless regulatory domain for 11.04. I'm currently using my 2.4Ghz spectrum and I want to activate the 5.8Ghz to support my 'a' band network.

What is the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a

Does your home router support the 'a' band?
