song stops halfway in itunes

As stated above, i have managed to install forked on my 12.04 ubuntu server.

"My Music" is visible on all computers running itunes.
When i play any songs from this shared source, the song never finishes completely. It just stops playing without any error.

Maybe someone knows what is going wrong?

If you need any more info on my config, please ask!

Have you tried using other players than iTunes?

I have tried WMP and VLC, but neither of them show the forked server/service automatically.

Could you point me to the correct url to open the networkstream?

if you run vlc from the terminal and connect to the IP of the system on port 3689

I'd try a live Ubuntu desktop, see how it goes

Rythmbox gives me the exact same error,..

Music stops, and no errormsg

On rythmbox the song continued after a bit for a few times (like a buffer that runs out) but eventually just stopped
