Unable to play DVD player on 10.04

I have installed libdvdread4.css.sh and other packages that are similar, but the screen doesn't show it. Totem, VLC, Kaffeine, and Movie player doesn't recognized the DVD player. Any suggestions ?

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get --reinstall install libdvdread4
sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh
sudo apt-get upgrade
