Error while opening any video with GNOME video player

i keep receiving error which says "Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" each time i try to play any video with GNOME media player

This is because you aren't using an nvidia graphics card, you will need to configure your app to not use vdpau
