GNOME Do: cannot copy or move files or folders

Asked by bob

Hi, I upgraded to ubuntu 11.10 and all of a sudden GNOME Do can no longer copy or move files or folders. Otherwise gnome do works fine. The files and folders plugin is installed (and I re-installed it already; I also re-installed GNOME Do, but no change). Thank you for help!

Verify the entry in /etc/fstab, I mean check if the permissions change after upgrade.
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fstab

if yes please edit fstab , also log a bug..

one question, Have you installed Ubuntu using wubi?

Hej, thanks, I took a look at fstab -- but maybe I wasn't clear: I can move and copy files using the terminal or in Nautilus, but GNOME Do (http://do.davebsd.com/wiki/Main_Page), an application I dearly love, is no longer able to do so.

Hmm.. I had seen the issue when I upgraded 11.04 (installed using wubi on a vista machine) to 11.10. But coincidentally I had installed updates and rebooted the machine ad problem fixed automatically...

I also upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 and I also installed updates and rebooted twice, I think. I upgraded via the update center (is that wubi?).

How can I check whether the permissions in fstab change after an upgrade ? I just copy the thing and compare it to after an upgrade?
