Why does Chromium keep crashing in Ubuntu 12.10?

I have a Toshiba Netbook NB250 Win7 Starter and I run Ubuntu 12.10 alongside it using Wubi.

Chromium keeps on crashing to the point I am unable to even move my pointer with either touch pad or mouse and must turn off my net book by its off button (which I have no other option that I know of and I know is not good for the computer).

Relying on Chrome/Chromium is much needed and preferred.

I do have a lot of bookmarks and bkmk folders but as few apps and extensions running as possible. It seems to crash the most when I open my Yahoo mail - but not exclusively - it crashes all the time.

Please someone help.

Have you tried renaming the config folder for the browser then rerunning it. Maybe there is an addon you added causing the issue
