Get Gnome Drawer applet to display Name of shortcut instead of icon.

Asked by Johnathon

Hello... I am unable to get a "Gnome Drawer" applet to display the text of a shortcut instead of an icon. This is a problem for me, as I have a large number of NX client shortcuts on my desktop, and I want to put them in an applet on one of my panels (I a have dual-desktop/panel, dual-screen setup).

Any ideas?

I don't think you can do that. For the time being you can hover your mouse over the drawer's content and this will tell you the name of the shortcuts.
If you believe that such a feature is necessary, you can of course issue a bug in the Gnome bug tracker:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/

Make sure to classify this as a wishlist.
