network manager applet disappeared
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
May have happened before, but have only just noticed. Could be related to updates today (26 Apr 10).
The network manager applet in the top GNOME panel has disappeared and for the life of me I cannot get it back. I use ethernet and it would normally show that it has a connection through the wire. I cannot use wifi due to Atheros wifi card problems (already reported elsewhere) so I do not know if this is just because it is connected via ethernet.
