Is there a photo process program and how do I find it

I tried to and did download picasa, however, I can'y find it. Also, is there an existing photo program and how do i access that?

What do you mean by "process"?

There are several photo programs

* Gimp (advanced, but powerful)
* Fspot
* Shotwell

Personally, I like just having folders with images in them, then editing them in gimp. Others like having a program to arrange the contents, like shotwell/fspot

Usually you'll find those apps after installation in
applications -> graphics

## F-Spot was replaced by Shotwell as standard application (afaik since Maverick), but is still available in 'universe' repository and can be installed via e.g. Software-Center, Synaptic, CLI.

Sam,
I am used to Windows XP and this Ubantru/Linux is like learning a new language. Thank you for your help. I have amassed much knowledge thanks to you and the others that responded. Now, i have about two 12 hr. days learning ahead.
