With Gedit text editor, writing a new text can't scroll beyond first page
I have gedit 3.4.1 on Ubuntu 12:04, & have been using it since 2006 or thereabouts.
For a month or more now, I can't see below the bottom of the first screen - I can't scroll past it, but I can keep typing (I don't as I need to see what I type).
If I have a file open in gedit, then click on another text file in file manager to open it, a new window opens, but the new window is blank & won't accept typing, & the already open window behaves the same way.
I have to use the quit function from the icon to close the windows.
I use this text editor a lot, as it is quick & easy for recording text, & saving parts of a web page.
Cheers, Garry.
