Asked by Marco

Hello, I just installed Ubuntu 10.04, the installation went fine but at first reboot I got only command line interface asking for my login details... I am really new to linux and I do not know any command.
How can I return at the normal graphical interface?
Do you need to reinstall ubuntu?
if yes, how I can reinstall it from the command line?

thank you
Marco

It is not necessary to reinstall ubuntu, is an issue where this is not recognizing the computer's graphics card, provides information about your hardware to help.
Login into the system and run the following command
lspci
and paste the output here
