rescue mode doesn't ask for password

So it was decided that rescue mode doesn't need to ask for a password.
I think this is a stupid feature. By default, you can just boot in with root powers. The problem is, that almost all people intuitively expect that at that point, it would be asking the sudo password. You shouldn't throw people off like that....
Security is a question of compromises. Here, most people think they made the compromises they feal comfortable with, when in fact, they didn't.
