Is it just a file on the desktop?

I have done some investigation and found files in ~/.local/share/fogapp/[some sort of md5]/

If I manually edit files in that catalog I can change icon and url.

A more useful way should be if its possible to do that in the GUI.

A backside of storing files in ~/.local is that its impossible to make .deb-files for distributing packaged sites. A better place would be global /usr/share so all users on the local machine can use installed foggapps and it possible to distribute by apt and deb packages. The use of /opt for installing the base package are confusing to, that means that command line does not work and seems non linux like.

use the GUI program "Main Menu" or a similar one. Find the application, click Properties, click the current icon in top left, choose a new icon.
