PS: Also how do I replace GNOME with Fluxbox?

As https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fluxbox#Installing%20Fluxbox explains, once you install Fluxbox, it's available as a login session type. Are you asking how to remove GNOME, once Fluxbox is installed, so that you cannot use GNOME at all (and it doesn't take up space)?
