my computer wont let me download any thing it keep saying something about a plugin or a flash player

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. Could you please explain: "my computer wont let me download any thing it keep saying something about a plugin or a flash player" ?

At a minimum, we need the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem, so that we can reproduce it on our end.

that's not a totem issue, reassigning to flash player.

for flash support u should install flashplugin-nonfree, u can simply do it by typing
"sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree" in a terminal (Alt+F2 : gnome-terminal), it will grant u for a password (don't worry if it does not show what u type).
