Adobe Flash Player security update.
Hi, on December 11. Adobe have published new Security Bulletin[1], about several security issues found in Adobe Flash Player package. A couple of distributions already have updated this package e.g. RedHat or Mageia etc. Additionally, the RetHat Security Response Team, has rated this update as having critical security impact[2].
I would like to ask (because frankly, I'm afraid a little), why Ubuntu does not published an update for adobe-flashplugin or flashplugin-
One more thing. The last adobe-flashplayer updates for e.g. 'Precise' were in November. These updates were available for:
,------
| ubuntu/
| ubuntu/precise adobe-flashplugin: 11.2.202.
| ubuntu/
| ubuntu/
`------
11.2.202.251 is the last vulnerable version and a new, updated version is: 11.2.202.258. Will be the update available for this package? If so, when? If no, why?
Best regards!
