Flash player control buttons don't work

Sometime during the last week of March 2012 I installed an Adobe Flash Player "update". Since then the control buttons in Amazon Cloud Player haven't worked. I don't even see the controls in Youtube. Is there a way I can restore the flash player I had been using? If so, how do I do it? Thanks.

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'

Bug report linked above.
Try if the settings window responds when the video is in full screen mode.
Legacy flash plugins are available there although installation isn't recommended.

ok then run:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

Does it install flash ok?

Flash installed just fine, and I now can see and use the controls in Youtube. Thank you so much!! However, the control buttons are still "frozen" on the Amazon Cloud Player.
